What is burning? Brush fires near DeLand.

The smell of smoke in DeLand is a result of brush fires along I-4.
I drove past the area today returning from Daytona Beach and the fires appear to be between Highway 92 and Highway 44 on the west side of I-4. There were fire crews on scene. I did not see anything burning but their was a smoke haze across the highway.
Please be careful and practice good fire safety including not throwing lit cigarettes out of your car.
